Brenda Chin

Hi, I’m Brenda Chin. Welcome to my new site. For the past 32 years, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented authors in the business today—in many cases, buying their first book, guiding them along the way, and celebrating their victories with them.  And I’d like to do the same thing for you.

Although I’m known predominantly as a romance editor (almost twenty-five years at Harlequin will do that for you), I’ve also worked with authors of suspense, paranormal, historical fiction, horror, urban fantasy, YA, NA and even non-fiction.

I believe publishing is a partnership, and my job as an editor is similar to that of a coach. I will do my best to bring out the best in you and your writing, and help you create a book we can both be proud of.

As for my approach, it’s fairly simple—I think that if you’re creating something that’s meant to entertain, you should enjoy the process.  We should enjoy the process.

So, will I push you to reach your potential? Yes. Will you love the experience? Maybe. But will you be happy with the results? According to the majority of my authors, definitely!

Please check out my site and see what you think.

I look forward to helping you reach your publishing dreams.
